okay so bran is the ultimate key to everything at the end of the day but i'll get to that at the end.

if you have questions on names of characters just ask because it's hard for most people to keep track

george rr martin the writer of thrones said that the ending of thrones is going to be bitter sweet and here is why.

cersei is going to die and the lannisters will fall, she was prophecized at the beginning of season 4 when she was a kid that she would be a queen, have 3 children, but not with the king, and they would all die before her death. her younger brother was also prophesized to kill her. it's going to be jamie because tyrion is not her true brother. her big mistake was paying back the debt to the iron bank her father tywin never paid with the money she just got by sacking highgarden in season 7 when they killed olenna tyrell. "the lannister always pay their debts" will be the undoing of her. now that she is out of debt and the iron bank has their money back, they have the assets to back anyone they want. the iron bank was also very fond of the growing amount of interest that the lannisters were piling up. although the lannisters were able to use the iron bank to hire mercenaries from essos, it won't be enough in the long run. the iron bank doesn't back losers, once they find someone else who is more worthy of their investment, they will take their side and follow the money. her greed and lust for power has led her to make that mistake and ultimately be her demise. jamie will kill cersei since he is technically the younger of the two.

jamie switched sides to go help jon and dany take down the army of the dead because he has finally had enough of cersei and eventually they will be on opposite sides and he will be forced to kill her because deep down he is truly good. he has finally seen the evil in cersei everyone basically ever had told him so much about when she decided she wanted to plot against dany and jon while they planned to basically save the world.

tyrion is not a lannister because he is not tywins son, he is the bastard child of the mad king and tywins wife. he raped her and he was the result. his mother, who is also jamie and cersei's mother died during the birth of tyrion and they all blame him for it, especially tywin. there was a moment in season 3 where he told tyrion to his face that he is not his son, and that he wanted to drown him in the sea but he could not and had to raise him as a lannister. the giving proof that tyrion is a targaryen is the fact that when a targaryen gives birth, the gods flip a coin on whether or not he would be "mad" or not. making him and viscerys the 50/50 opposites to rhaegar and dany, but he is just deformed and not crazy unlike viscerys. also the giving proof is that he was able to calm the dragons by simply talking to them under the pyramid when dany was captured by the dothraki. he will have an important role in the fights to come, and he may ride a dragon.

either jon or dany is going to die at the end of the series, but it's going to be dany. jon has already died and he may be the "prince who was promised", leaving dany vulnerable. she will likely die at the hands of the night king, but i'm not certain how it will specifically happen. in season 2 when the warlocks stole her baby dragons she went into that creepy tower and had visions of her own demise. she envisions herself in the red keep in kings landing full of snow, just as she's about to reach out for the iron thrones she's coveted so much, she gets distracted by a sound and all of a sudden she is walking through the gates of castle black to go north of the wall. as she is walking she sees a tent with khal drogo and her unborn son, which likely means that she will go to battle with the white walkers but get killed in the process.

melisandre (red woman) will have a role to play in helping dany and jon defeat the white walkers. i believe she is hurt by the mistakes she has made with stannis baratheon, especially with killing his daughter (the girl with the stone virus on her face) to ensure a victory against ramsey, although she was interpreting the lord of lights signals incorrectly with stannis around, she is now correctly deciphering them and she will die in westeros at some point during the season after completing her resurgence to the good of the world

i believe theon will ultimately die as well, trying to save yara from euron in a final life giving attempt.

Jon will win the war against the white walkers, lose dany, and then ultimately win the war against a weak cersei lannister army. at the red keep or farther south. he will be given the opportunity to rule the seven kingdoms, but he doesn't want to be the king, he wants to be jon. he will differ the crown to either jamie or tyrion, but i believe it will be tyrion because i believe jamie will die at some point. tyrion will be the king of westeros and the seven kingdoms to show that no matter what you look like, no matter where you came from, or how you got there, or who your parents are, you can become anything in the world if you set your mind to it.

at the end of the story we will only have 2 starks left. right now we have bran sansa and arya, but at the end of the series i believe only sansa and arya will remain.

bran is the ultimate key to everything and almost makes the entire story, other than his role of things in regards to the white walkers, pointless. bran is the three eyed raven and can see in the past and learn from it but as we see in season 6 that just visiting and viewing the past is not the extent of his power. he is actually much more powerful than that yet he was unable to finish his training so he had to figure things out on his own and discover himself. he is able to change the past as you know from when he called out to the young ned stark and made him turn around. the fullest extent of his power means that bran exists infinitely across every timeline, past, present and future. we don't see the full extent of what bran can do because we only see the present version of bran. and this is where it gets confusing, so bear with me and you may believe me to be reaching but hear me out. in season one, when bran was in bed resting from just being paralyzed, there was an old woman sitting in a chair keeping him company and telling him stories, she mentions that during her lifetime, all the brandon starks seemed to blend together or be the same. his uncle and ned's oldest brothers name was brandon stark and unfortunately he was killed by the mad king but that doesn't have anything to do with our main point. the real brandon we have to think about is bran the builder, who built the wall and banished the night king and the white walkers originally north of the wall thousands of years ago. unfortunately he was only able to defeat the night king and not destroy him as he did not know what it truly takes to defeat the night king. in our story there are 2 versions of bran living in our current game of thrones story we have to think about.. one is the present bran we know as a cripple, and the other is the night king. yes, bran is the night king. but bran wasn't always the night king. back in the day of the of the first men, westeros only inhabited those short children of the forest people. when the first men came over they started colonizing westeros and eventually fell into war with the children of the forest. as the children of the forest worshipped the old gods (the same ones the starks bow to) the first men were killing off the children of the forest so they had to resort to magic. which we saw in the flashback scenes where they shoved a piece of obsidian (dragon glass) into that mans heart, turning him into a white walker in hopes of using his power to defeat the first men and stop them from getting killed. however they did not realize what they created, which was pure evil with no allegiance to the children of the forest or anyone else for the matter. they are a threat to the entire world and that's where bran the builder comes in. he is the one who built the wall and banished the white walkers after their original defeat north of the wall. bran the builder has some kind of magic to him as he is not a normal person. he is the original three eyed raven and secures his life throughout the timeline in thrones we know and don't know. our bran descends from bran the builder as the white walker threat has been in existence this entire time. his purpose is to defeat the night king which does not exist yet. a future version of bran recognizes the future white walker threat that we know in the game of thrones we know today and he goes back in time to try and stop the creation of the white walkers altogether to prevent the future threat and downfall of westeros, however he makes a grave mistake. the three eyed raven that we know once told bran that the past is sweet, but if you stay too long you'll drown. meaning if you stay too long in the past, you eventually get stuck there. the bran that goes back in time to prevent the white walker creation gets stuck in the past. (more on this later) the clues that lead me to come to this conclusion come from a few instances we see in flashbacks in earlier seasons. it's said that the mad king had voices in his head and i believe these voices are coming from bran. "burn them all" is what he repeated over and over again and without knowing the purpose of these voices in his head, he went crazy which helped lead to the downfall of the targaryans and the current era we know in game of thrones. in that failed attempt, the bran that we don't know dives deeper into the past with more developed abilities to control the past to the moment where the original white walker is created. he takes the mind of the man they turn into the white walker (who happens to be the 13th lord commander of the nights watch) he tries to convince the children of the forest that if they create the white walkers to try and defend themselves that they will be creating an evil far greater than the threat of the first men. but they don't believe him and hold him captive as they are fearing for their lives in the present moment from the first men. bran gets stuck in the 13th lord commander and is unable to return to the future thus creating a much more powerful version of the white walker that we know as the night king, a purely evil version of brandon stark. this opens up timeline the second bran that we know today descending from bran the builder. his role is to defeat the night king, and himself creating a world without brandon starks. however the bran we know will eventually learn from the previous bran's mistakes as our current bran develops and masters his powers to travel in time. i believe that jon and dany will begin to start losing the fight against the white walkers, and sometime shortly before or after danys death, bran will realize what must be done, which is to eliminate himself from the world and end every timeline of bran in existence. because bran the builder has been able to secure his existence to oversee his protection of the world through the transferring of his being or spirit or whatever you want to call it throughout all times without dying through time travel and the teachings of the three eyed raven, he will eventually realize that the white walker threat will prove to be too great for jon or dany or the combined power of the best men of westeros in our current time in thrones will not be enough to defeat the power of the night king, thus leading to his death or suicide or final confrontation with the night king leading to his own demise. (which i've already repeated a bunch of times lol) this will be the only way to defeat the night king once and for all. this sacrifice will lead to the future of westeros and jon's ability to also defeat cersei and her oppressive reign and create the greater world tyrion jon and dany have combined to envision at the end of our story.

i believe i am missing a minor detail in my bran/night king theory but either way you should be able to understand
